Common Questions
How does the 7-day free trial work?
We offer all new members a "7-day free trial" to explore and experience how powerful Strides is for the price of a cup of coffee.
During your trial period, you can request everything that Strides offers to get a good feel of how things work and the quality of work you can expect from us.
For some complicated tasks, the turnaround time is 7+ days, so you may not receive the final deliverables within the trial period. In any case, you can see the daily progress if you wish to continue.
Please note that during the trial period, we don't hand out the design source files; these will only be available when you continue with your membership. If you don't have more design requests and want these source files, contact us.
How does communication work?
After you sign up, the dedicated designer assigned to work with you will share their email so that it can be included in your communication structure. By default, we are accustomed to working with Slack; however, if your company uses a different tool, simply share access with us and we can begin working.
If your company does not have any communication process in place, we offer Trello, which is a modern project management tool, to handle your design requests. After signing up, you'll be given a custom board where we can collaborate and manage tasks together. There is no limit to the number of requests you can make, and you can prioritize them by moving them to the active requests column. For any comments or minor edits, you can leave comments on the Trello card or record a Loom video to guide us through the changes you need.
We work on one request at a time, and you can decide when to pause one task to start another. Our designers will provide daily updates in the form of succinct summaries to give you a quick overview of the progress made each day. If you require more detailed explanations, we will provide video walkthroughs attached to your specific tasks.
Do I own the rights to the designs?
Yes, all paid work belongs to you forever!
However, the materials you provide to us are assumed to be licensed and owned by you. If you provide us with unlicensed materials to use, then we are not held liable for the rights of the final design.
Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?
At Strides, we believe our subscription offers top-notch design and communication. Refunds aren't available now, but you can cancel or resume anytime.
